Virtual Lessons.

These days it has become increasingly common for students to request virtual lessons from Jennifer. This option is available for all students and allows for continued training should a student move out of the area.

Jennifer Johnson Osborne strives to be as flexible as possible when it comes to her teaching method and style while still remaining true to the principles of proper vocal work. Each and every lesson is specially tailored to meet the specific needs of the student depending on their experience, skill level, age, & desired outcome. Lessons generally range from half an hour for younger students to an hour in length for adults however this is by no means set-in-stone. Though lessons are offered for students of all ages, it is usually best to wait until the student is about twelve or thirteen years old to begin formal training. There is no strict format that a lesson has to take, however lessons usually focus on breathing technique, correct body positioning, vowel formation, and familiarity with written music. Jennifer teaches in multiple languages and does not discriminate based on skill level or vocal type. Students will be expected to practice on their free time however vocal instruction is a highly personalized art so facetime with the instructor is considered essential.

Please contact Ms Johnson-Osborne at 860-416-5175/ eexposure@aol.com to discuss availability.

I highly recommend Jennifer as a music teacher. She has taught my three sons piano and voice for years. Jennifer is an academically and professionally trained musician. Her teaching style is supportive, encouraging and joyful! Her love of music is infectious. Her flexible scheduling works for busy families. Jennifer has fostered a love of music in my sons that continues to grow. As a family we are grateful to have Jennifer in our lives.

“I really wanted to improve my speaking voice and be confident in singing. I went in with realistic expectations for myself, considering I’ve never really sang before and with Jennifer’s help I’ve already surpassed my expectations for vocal lessons. With the right teacher you can really get your vocals to do amazing things and having a great voice has boosted my confidence tremendously. I’ve had so much fun I’ve also taken up piano lessons with Jennifer. Definitely recommend her!”
